Geoff Besko assumes Interim CEO role at Manitoba Technology Accelerator

Geoff Besko, Co-Founder and CEO of Hilltop Partner Network

Hilltop Partner Network (HPN) is proud to announce that Geoff Besko, Co-Founder and CEO, has taken on the temporary appointment of Interim CEO at the Manitoba Technology Accelerator (MTA).

Geoff’s appointment to this part-time position will support the MTA’s Board of Directors during their search for a new, permanent CEO. While leading MTA through this transitional period, Geoff will also continue to fulfill his duties as CEO for HPN.

“As a network comprised of senior consultants, HPN is in the business of taking on impactful engagements for our customers,” said Geoff. “The MTA and HPN share the same goal of helping small businesses grow to their full potential, so this opportunity is one I’m very excited about.”

MTA is an esteemed business accelerator at the forefront of Manitoba’s technology start-up community. Through investment, mentorship, and infrastructure support, MTA helps businesses of all sizes start, stabilize, and grow, contributing to Winnipeg’s position as the Start-Up Capital of Western Canada.

This consulting engagement leverages Geoff’s extensive experience in coaching and mentorship, showcasing his ability to provide rapid value to MTA during this assignment. His background in guiding businesses and leaders positions him to contribute significantly to MTA’s mission.

“HPN’s purpose is to empower our members to achieve their unique potential and create value for customers, so we’re very excited for Geoff to take on this assignment with the MTA,” said Renée Riglin, President and Co-Founder of HPN. “He is exactly the kind of leader that an organization needs when they’re going through a major transition period and searching for a permanent CEO.”

Geoff’s temporary responsibilities at MTA will not impact the day-to-day operations of Hilltop Partner Network, and work will continue as usual. The strong foundation and continuity of service remain unchanged.

“I expect I’ll be quite busy, but I’m not worried. Hilltop Partner Network is doing better than ever,” said Geoff. “Our operational teams are stronger than ever, and our leadership team is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. In fact, we’re expecting 2024 to be a great year for our network.”
