Hilltop Partner Network Deepens Commitment to Indigenous Education Through Indspire

Hilltop Partner Network (HPN) is proud to announce the extension of its support for Indigenous students across Canada through a renewed annual commitment to the Indspire Building Brighter Futures Scholarships and Bursaries Program (BBF).

This ongoing commitment has earned HPN a place in Indspire’s Brighter Futures Circle, a distinguished community of donors united by their dedication to expanding opportunities for Indigenous youth. As part of this leadership giving program, HPN’s gift will go directly toward helping Indigenous students achieve their educational goals by removing financial barriers that disproportionately impact their access to post-secondary education.

Values in Action

At HPN, we believe in the power of community—and in the drive and determination of individuals to realize their potential. That’s why we support organizations like Indspire that remove barriers, not momentum. Their work aligns with ours: helping driven individuals move forward on their terms.

“At HPN, we know potential is everywhere—but opportunity isn’t. Supporting Indspire is one way we help close that gap. These students represent the future of leadership, innovation, and community-building, and we’re proud to play a small part in their journeys,” said Renée Riglin, President of Hilltop Partner Network.

The funds from HPN will go into the Soaring Future Fund, a component of the BBF that provides flexible bursaries to Indigenous students demonstrating financial need. Contributions to this fund—no matter the size—can have a transformative effect, supporting students who often face a lack of access to basic necessities, funding, and educational infrastructure.

HPN’s partnership with Indspire began with our 2024 Social Responsibility Initiative donation, and we have since recognized the importance of making this support ongoing.

Despite recent progress, the gap in educational attainment between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students in Canada remains significant. Only 10.9% of Indigenous students go on to receive a university degree, compared to 26.5% of their non-Indigenous peers.

We believe education is one of the clearest paths to empowerment and impact—but too many Indigenous students are shut out due to financial barriers. Our continued support for Indspire helps ensure that more students have the chance to thrive—and to bring their talent and leadership into the communities and industries that need them most.

By investing in Indigenous education, HPN and other Brighter Futures Circle members are contributing to a ripple effect—helping students not only achieve their dreams, but also return to their communities as role models, professionals, and change-makers.

Join the Movement

HPN invites all members, partners, and community stakeholders to join in supporting access to education for Indigenous students. Donations to HPN’s fundraising page contribute directly to the Building Brighter Futures program.

Together, we can build a future where all Indigenous youth in Canada have the opportunity to soar.
