HPN Welcomes Michael Long as Account Manager for Alberta

Hilltop Partner Network is thrilled to welcome Michael Long to our team as the new Account Manager for Alberta.

Michael brings over 25 years of executive and consulting experience, having led organizations through complex transformations and high-impact strategic initiatives across healthcare, public sector, and information technology industries. A dynamic and results-driven leader, Michael is renowned for his ability to steer teams through change and transformation. His expertise spans a broad range of strategic areas, including organizational restructuring, talent management, service model optimization, and performance improvement. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to guide organizations through pivotal transitions, ensuring sustainable success and enhanced operational efficiency.

Michael’s impressive track record includes leadership roles at Alberta Health Services, Maximus Canada Services, and Sylogist Ltd., among others. Notably, he spearheaded the $800M+ Clinical and Systems Transformation Project for British Columbia’s Provincial Health Authorities, successfully rescuing and delivering the initiative after years of stalled progress. His strategic insights and governance acumen have contributed to the success of large-scale IT-enabled transformations that drive measurable improvements in organizational performance.

As an Account Manager, Michael’s experience in managing professional service organizations, sales teams and proposal efforts will come to the forefront to position HPN and its members for opportunities in the Alberta marketplace. Michael’s expertise in strategy execution, stakeholder engagement, vendor and contractor management will ensure that clients receive optimal solutions tailored to their unique needs, while his governance acumen will provide them with well-informed, data-driven decision-making support.

In his role as an HPN Account Manager, Michael will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our customer relationships in Alberta and ensuring that our partners receive the highest level of service and support. He is eager to leverage his wealth of experience to help them address their complex business needs and achieve their strategic goals.

Michael is also a member of Hilltop Partner Network and is based in the Calgary, Alberta area.
